- Chorabari Tal (Gandhi Sarovar): Another glacial lake near Kedarnath, Chorabari Tal is also known as Gandhi Sarovar. It is believed that Mahatma Gandhi's ashes were immersed in the lake.
- Shankaracharya Samadhi: The final resting place of Adi Shankaracharya, a revered Hindu philosopher, is located behind the Kedarnath Temple.
